Bruce R Turino, DC
Dr. Bruce has been in practice in Ishpeming since June of 1978. After graduating from Ishpeming High School in 1968, he served in the U.S. Navy as a hospital corpsman. He enrolled at Palmer College of Chiropractic and graduated with a BS and Doctor of Chiropractic Degree in 1978. Over the years Dr. Bruce has actively participated in many local organizations, serving in 1992 and again presently as the president of the Ishpeming Chamber of Commerce. He previously served as president of the Ishpeming Noon Kiwanis and sat on numerous boards for the Chamber of Commerce, the Community Fund, and the National Ski Hall of Fame. Dr. Bruce serves as president of the Upper Peninsula Chiropractors Association and as a Board Representative for the Michigan Association of Chiropractors. He and his wife Mary have two children, their son Dr. Brandon is a third generation chiropractor, and their daughter Hayley is a RN in Marquette General Hospital’s neonatal intensive care unit. When not working, Dr. Bruce enjoys woodworking and spending quiet time at camp on the Dead River Basin with his yellow lab, Maggie.

Sarah A Paveglio, DC
Born and raised in Ishpeming, Dr. Sarah is a graduate of Westwood High School who has returned to serve her hometown. Graduating from Northern Michigan University in 2007, Dr. Sarah moved to Minnesota to earn her doctorate degree at Northwestern College of Chiropractic in 2011. She holds a great interest in living a healthy lifestyle with a large focus on exercise and nutrition. She believes that the power that made the body heals the body, and encourages everyone to live a natural lifestyle with Chiropractic care. Dr. Sarah has spent months in Honduras and Costa Rica serving their communities in both medical and chiropractic needs. Beyond work, she surrounds herself with an amazing community of friends and family. She enjoys staying active at CrossFit, outdoor activities, crafts, board games, and just smiling.

Massage Therapy

Janelle
Janelle has been practicing Massage Therapy since 2002. She has worked in a variety of settings including Rehabilitation, Day Spa, Hospital/Medical and owning her own business. She is certified in Therapeutic Massage as well as Body Talk Access, Myofascial Mobilization and Orthopedic Massage 1, and is a Professional L evel Member of the Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals Organization. She is currently attending Northern Michigan University where she is majoring in Health and Fitness Management.

Megan
Megan graduated from the Marquette School of Therapeutic Massage in 2007, earned her National Certification in Massage Therapy in 2010, and is a Professional Level Member of the Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals Organization. She was born and raised in Milwaukee, WI, and came to the U.P. in 2004 to study ceramics at NMU. Megan is versed in multiple techniques including Swedish, Prenatal, Neuromuscular Facilitation, and Trigger Point Therapy, and specializes in Deep Tissue Muscle Release. Megan has enjoyed Chiropractic care since she was a child, and believes strongly in the integration of Massage and Chiropractic.

Barb
Barb started her career with Turino Chiropractic in 1991 as a front desk receptionist, and is currently the office manager. She is married to her husband Barry, and has four beautiful daughters. Over the years, Chiropractic care has played a very integral part in her life, health, and well-being. She enjoys being involved with Chiropractic, nutrition, and patient care. Working at Turino Chiropractic for over 20 years has been a very rewarding and enjoyable experience.

Toni
Toni is the billing and insurance specialist at Turino Chiropractic, and has been in the medical field for over 20 years. She was born and raised in Cadillac, MI and went to college in Grand Rapids where she met her husband. They have three children and a very curious beagle. She moved to the Upper Peninsula over 20 years ago and has been at Turino Chiropractic for the last 11. Besides her job, she enjoys any sport on the planet Earth, though especially baseball, and specifically the Detroit Tigers. GO TIGERS!

Kathy
Kathy returned to work at Turino Chiropractic in November 2008 as a receptionist, having previously worked here 12 years ago. Having been a long time patient and employee, she has seen firsthand the benefits Chiropractic care can offer. She is an Ishpeming native and enjoys its small town qualities. She and her husband Chris have been married for 25 years, and have three children and two golden retrievers. She is a fan of NBA basketball, and enjoys traveling, gardening, long walks, and spending time with her family.

Sue became part of "The Turino Team" in June of 2010 as a front desk receptionist. She has lived in Ishpeming all of her life, and married her high school sweetheart, Ed. Their son Brian is a dentist in the area, and he and his wife Danielle have a beautiful daughter Nora Jo. Her daughter Rachel and her husband, Stephen live in Dearborn, where they are both registered nurses. She is a Yooper through and through, and enjoys working with the many faces of our beautiful community. She enjoys working in and around the house, as well as walking, biking, and CrossFit. She is a dedicated Tigers fan, and appreciates integrating local herbs and vegetables into her ever expanding recipes.
